Jolt, the company that are running the online side of this competition have released details on their qualifyers. Firstly, 16 players out of the 128 have been seeded, these players are:

Zaccubus, Maniax, Jinjur, KuuLa, Timber, Tek, Appz, Razorb, SLAYER, Mauler, AphexTwin, Turk1sh, Xaku, Scotsman, crasH, and Zaf

They will be put straight through to the double elimination section of the tournament beginning on the 23rd of november. Which will be using a map rotation of: fallen2te, sacred, psycho in that order.

Gamespy have posted a review of BooH and seem to like what they see. They dont say much about the Multiplayer side of the game which is a shame, but they like the SinglePlayer experience.

It seems that NBCs prime-time hospital series, ER, recently mentioned PK during one of its episodes : season 11, episode 2. In the past weve seen the staff at the front desk of ER play Doom (back when George Clooney was in it – kid from a drainage pipe during a severe thunderstorm episode). Its good to see theyve moved on since then 🙂

A new gameplay movie is available showing a second level of the “almost” released expansion pack BooH. Loony Park sees rather malevolent clowns chasing you around trying to blow you apart. A couple of the new weapons are on show with the Flamethrower toasting a set of fat clowns rather well. You also get to see the machine gun and boltgun in action.

sakh: If I would have to choose a thing that I find important in the game it is to be able to keep up the high speed that the game offers, since I really enjoy this fast paste non defensive games. But it still misses alot of things like PKTV and linux servers, but since this is on the list of CPL requirments, Im sure that they will add this features into the game aswell.
