To lan or not to lan

Well my pc blew up so i have been offline for a month, thinking i had lost lots of practise time.

Turns out pcf like me and released a new patch that changes everything! woohoo!

Ok so this patch, supposedly, rocks on lan, which benefits about 5 of us. The problem is, do we wanna see the same guy winning every WT stop? (soz voo i love u, but not that much). When you go to a lan, the one thing that every player wants is for the setup to be just like home. WIth the way 1.61 sets you up at home, i would think everyone would like a different set up on LAN. What does this lead to?

It leads to all ,but the top 2 or 3 who can afford to Lan, having an alien set up at lan, which isnt a good thing.
Atm online practise is USELESS. Half the time your gun doesnt even fire, its ridiculous. The sg doesnt register, so you nme is running around at 30u and you are getting dizzy (also due to the rl not having directional splash aswell…LOL).

Oh and the sounds…they confuse me more than pcf.

ESR interviews Angel Munoz

ESReality has interviewed the founder and president of the CPL, Angel Munoz.

snipet:

What are the reasons behind the CPL yet again picking TsN for the World Tour notwithstanding the immense amount of criticism after their ‘performance’ at CPL Winter?

TsN has been reporting live at CPL events for years and have done a great job. I think they are very aware that their Painkiller coverage needs a ‘brush up’ to become equitable with their CS coverage. I like the iTG staff very much and they do a super job because of their one-versus-one experience. In fact they are welcome to attend any of the World Tour Stops as our agreement with TsN is not exclusive.

Ztrider wins Jolt PCZone

Ztrider just won the PC Zone Jolt Painkiller tournament. He beat Jabb0r from the UK in two maps.

  • Sacred: Ztrider 17 – 15 Jabb0r
  • Absinthe: Ztrider 30 – 1 Jabbb0r

The game was played on 1.61, and i think they had some fps problems in absinthe.

GG to both.

Bluefoot and Shadish did not play, and share the 3th place.
